TEMU2008 will take place at the city of Ierapetra, situated in the South Eastern part of Crete Island, 100km from Heraklion, the capital of Crete. There are twelve flights per day between Heraklion and Athens, operated by Olympic Airlines and Aegean Airlines. Starting on the 25th of March through to the 28th of October, there are many charter flights connecting Heraklion with various European cities.
The conference venue will be at “Melina Merkouri” amphitheatre, located within Ierapetra downtown, 100m from the city’s Venetian harbour. TEMU2008 will be supported by a comprehensive social programme, including a Welcome Reception and two social events, a Cocktail Party at Waikiki Beach Bar and a Gala Dinner at the traditional village of Anatoli at Astra Restaurant.
TEMU participants can choose from a list of recommended Hotels, scattered around Ierapetra city. Due to high-season timing, TEMU participants are kindly advised to book their hotel rooms before 30-04-2008, for secure and guaranteed reservation.
